Here I've laid down my first washes and then I had a brilliant idea..... I wanted to indicate the wind rushing by just as the little boy sees the witch for the first time. I used some miskit to block out a few of the bigger leaves and then put color down on the nice WET juicy page. I'm very happy with the way it looks... let me know what you think.
